Sacred Heart Academy Expands Leadership Team
April 30th, 2024
Sacred Heart Academy (SHA) announced the expansion of its executive leadership team to bolster the school’s position in the region as the premier all-girls catholic high school.
Moving forward, Marketing and Admissions will be divided into two separate roles. Kara Redente has been appointed into the newly created position of Director of Strategic Communications. She will be responsible for advancing the school’s brand, mission, and values; helping continue to attract high caliber young women and families that value a top-notch education. Kara will report to SHA’s president, Sr. Sheila O’Neill, PhD.
Kara has been an important member of SHA’s team for almost 6 years, leading both Marketing and Enrollment. Her professional experience prior to joining SHA includes marketing strategy roles at Subway World Headquarters, The Marketing Arm, Catapult Marketing and Mascola Advertising.
Simultaneous with this appointment, SHA will conduct a search to fill the position of Director of Enrollment Management. The role will provide strategic leadership for admission of first year and transfer students. The spot offers a unique opportunity for an experienced admissions professional to join an exceptional school community and make an important impact. This individual will also report to SHA’s president.
SHA is excited about the collaborative opportunities that this new organizational structure will present. Sr. Sheila commented “With dedicated resources in both marketing and enrollment, we can put an emphasis on keeping SHA top of mind with young women and their families who are looking for a great education in a values-based environment.”
