Campus Ministry
All Things in Faith, Truth and Love.
Everything we do at Sacred Heart Academy is based on the charism of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We engage in our academic pursuits in the spirit of Faith, Truth, and Love.
Each student is unique, and we celebrate the differences and strive to create a foundation that provides our students with the love and encouragement they need to be successful, strong individuals. Sharing God’s love is the driving force of our community creating a sense of belonging and strong bonds.
While embracing these young adults and their varying talents at Sacred Heart Academy, we are inspired by our core values: Catholic Community, Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Social Justice.
These values create a standard for what we expect each student to carry with them beyond life at SHA.
Core Values
Catholic community at Sacred Heart Academy means remaining faithful to your faith and community as the word catholic means universal and all-inclusive.
Compassion is a main pillar of the Sacred Heart Academy culture and our girls are encouraged to practice compassion every day in school as well as in the greater community.
Excellence is the pursuit of being Excelsior, striving ever higher and achieving your best.
Integrity is essential to our community as we resolve to always be accountable for our words and actions and speak the truth courageously.
Social Justice drives our efforts as a community to promote peace and justice and celebrate a culture of diversity and service.
SHA Campus Ministry encourages students, faculty and staff members, parents, and alumnae to embrace their identity as children of God and take up their mission to share God's love with others. Rooted in the Core Values, students are provided with various opportunities for prayer, service, learning, and retreats. Campus Ministry strives to nourish each person's experience of the Catholic faith, which forms the foundation of Sacred Heart, while respecting and learning from the various other faith traditions that add richness and diversity to our school community.
Students are encouraged to get involved in all branches of Campus Ministry.
