The PoWER OF PURPOSE
On Friday, September 30 the SHA community had the pleasure of welcoming Tai Richardson to our Excelsior Assembly, as a guest speaker.
According to Richardson Training and Consulting, "Tai Richardson, Founder of Richardson Training and Consulting, LLC, brings a unique perspective and skillset as a Motivational Speaker, Trainer and Facilitator. At RTC, we believe that no organization, group or individual are the same; therefore, we aim to cater our keynotes and presentations to the needs of your organization. Tai appeals to various learning styles and abandons the traditional "speaker standing behind a podium" format and infuses open discussion, personal reflections and viable action steps in a dynamic and conversational manner."
The students were engaged in his program, “The Power of Our Purpose,” which was inspiring, motivational and informative. Tai encouraged all of us to "Lock In," which means committing to hard work, setting goals and being unafraid to take risks. The girls had time to interact with each other in a game of "getting to know you bingo" and journal about setting goals and achieving them. Through his own experiences, Tai showed our students the importance of self reflection and how to step into your own power and purpose as we all strive to live “ever higher.” Thank you, Tai for sharing your gifts with us.
