HARTFORD’S SUMMA SCHOLAR AWARD CEREMONY

May 18th, 2022

The Archdiocese of Hartford’s SUMMA Scholar Award Ceremony

Six Sacred Heart Academy seniors were honored at the Archdiocese of Hartford’s SUMMA scholar award ceremony on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

The purpose of this Archdiocesan award is for educational leaders to personally recognize the students who have committed exceptional time, energy, and care in the pursuit of superior academic achievement.  These summa scholars represent the top 5% of their graduating class in terms of outstanding academic achievement from freshman year to the close of the first semester of senior year, based on the cumulative grade point average (GPA).

A unique part of this achievement is that each SUMMA scholar is given the opportunity to honor a teacher who in their opinion has made a significant impact on their high school journey.
