Fine Arts Department

Mrs. Mehinovic received B.A in Conducting and Music Theory from the Sarajevo Music Academy, and a Master of Arts in Conducting and Music Theory at Wesleyan University. For 5 years at SHA, she teaches music and directs the Orchestra and Choirs. Outside of SHA, she was the first professional woman to conduct an orchestra in Bosnia and Herzegovina and conducts at Quinnipiac University and performs as an organist and choir master at St. Michael's Church in Naugatuak.
