Admissions & Communications Specialist
SUMMARY
The Admissions Specialist will provide administrative support for Sacred Heart Academy’s enrollment and admission of first-year and transfer students. The individual will report to the Admissions and Communications Directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain applicant databases and track appropriate admissions statistics to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the entire admissions process.
Provide prospective students and families with information regarding admissions requirements and processes as needed
Support and help organize admissions events including open houses, tours, and accepted student events
Solicit the support of and help with the training of student ambassadors
Provide back-end support for OnCampus database and website, help families troubleshoot issues with application portal
Support the Admissions and Communications office with clerical support and other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in an educational setting, admissions experience a plus
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
Experience with Blackbaud, PowerSchool, FACTS, or another industry-related CRM
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
