Technology Student Association

May 7th, 2024 by Kara Redente

Sacred Heart Academy started its first TSA (Technology Student Association) chapter in 2021. The TSA enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in STEM, whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs. It  affords students the opportunity to learn how to develop strong 21st century leadership skills through proven models, and then put them into practice at the local, state, and national TSA levels

Students from SHA TSA chapter participated in the TSA Northeast Regional Conference held at Killingly High School on April 27th. Participating in these competitions not only expands their horizons but also helps sharpen their problem-solving skills so that they are best prepared for their Excelsior journey. The SHA TSA team included the following students: Danyella Lanche-Flores ’24, Quinn Michels ’24, Meghan Brown ’25, Maya Quaranta ’25, Chloe Retuya ’25 and Surita Williams ’25.
